Horrible service. I was told to not go back. I called the Newport police because I feel like it's discrimination. I ordered a small steak and cheese with all the vegetables and I got no lettuce.

Best pizza on the island for sure. Plus the staff is always really friendly and goofing around, its a great place to get a pizza.

Usually great but occasionally inconsistent. Awesome pizza, calzones and more. A favorite nonetheless.

If you want an easy place for pizza, they do the job. I especially enjoyed the meatball and jalepeno pizza, but their Buffalo chicken was good too. Not too much blue cheese. I've heard their gyros are really good too

The food is delicious and the people make strong bonds! I remember beingakid and coming on to talk to the employees and cooks over the tall counter. You have so many topping choices it is hard to not get them all!

Best food in town, late night

If you are ever in Newport and are looking for a simple yet tasty meal. Try A1 Pizza these guys are good at what they do. I tried their sweet Italian grinder which was "off de hook", in other words it was very good. Hats off to these folks. Keep up the good work.

Eat here almost every day when I'm in town. Been the best since I was a kid. Love that they have Portuguese soup!

I am not much a off a pizza lover. I dont like it to oily or to soft but this place had the most nice and delicious pizza of them all I been to by far.

I have eaten here since the week they opened. This was the 70s and I was a paperboy on a limited budget. The quality has remained top notch, by far my favorite pizza and grinder restaurant!

Could this place suck any more???Food tonight was worse than usual...They're at least consistent in how bad the food AND service is!This has been our "last resort" take-out venue for 20+ years now. Their only saving grace is that they're a late-night venue.….avoid this place, if you can.

Ordered a so called specialty roast beef sandwich , it was totally garbage, no meat bread not fresh. Not worth $10.00 will never eat there again .

Thin crust lots of cheese although very greasy. They had unique fried curds which we loved as well as lots of options

Friendly guys working behind the counter. Went in for a gyro and got a slice on the side. The gyro was great and I should have gotten an entire pie, because the slice was incredible. I have been living in a hotel for 3 weeks eating at various places over that time and it is the best pizza I have had since I have been staying here. My only regret is that I did not find them sooner!

Very nice people work here. The pizza was very greasy but flavorful. Eat-in or take-out. Seemed to be a steady flow of customers mainly taking out. Large selection.

Haven't been here in years and its still amazing pizza! The place looks great with new updates in the dining area. Food was awesome. Tons of toppings, yummy crust.

My favorite local pizza place. Try the A1 special, (ask for no anchovies if you don't care for them) gyros, or the Italian grinder.

A little bit slower than normal to ight but the pizza was Awesome!!!!

Super nice and quick. Great service and awesome food. If you're on a field trip with ten minutes to get back to the bus this is the place to go :)

Always awesome always good

Have been loyal customer since I was 12 and lived down the street from A1. But over past year or so service and on occassion, quality has gone down. I order pizzas with extra cheese but rarely get it even though I'm charged for it. For example, last night I ordered small pepperoni with extra cheese but there is no way I got extra cheese. I had also ordered a chicken tender dinner that was supposed to have a side salad with it. Side salad was not delivered but I called driver and he ended up bringing it to me. I'm sorry to say from now on I'll only order grinders and french fries from here
